Expansion Underway at Norfab Ducting

Norfab Ducting, manufacturer of the Quick-Fit a modular ductwork system for dust, mist, and fume collection, is expanding its operations in Thomasville, N.C.

“We are excited to announce that we are expanding our XD Plant,” the company said. “We named this facility XD because it is where we manufacture our Extra Durable ducting, our heavy gauge products, typically products heavier than 16 gauge, as well as products with extra-large dimensions.

“Thanks to the success of this product line and of our Nordfab Now initiative, we have run out of space in the current facility.

“We have recently demolished an existing office building which was attached to our manufacturing space and will soon begin construction of a new section which will add 27,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing and warehouse space. The additional manufacturing will allow us to more quickly manufacture heavier gauge products. The additional storage space will allow us to expand our existing Nordfab Now capacity with more items, including some of our heavier gauge products.

“The expansion is expected to be completed in the autumn of 2025.”
