Angelo Gangone, Executive Vice President of AWFS and AWFS Fair, expressed that the opportunities we have to make a positive impact on the community is one that we take very seriously and value the importance of giving back and investing in the future of the climate, our community and our industry. “I think the creation of AWFS C.A.R.E.S. has been in the making for quite some time and now we have an official program with focus and strategy to help make this world a better place for the future.  If you think about it, are there any industries that have a more ‘sustainable’ message than the wood industry? How many industries can say that their main manufacturing resource is not only a necessary and vital component of the environment but is also renewable.  We have already begun outreach and look forward to updating our membership and the industry soon.”
