Würth Baer Supply Co. acquires Hermance Machine Co.

Würth Baer Supply Co., a division of Würth Line Craft North America and the Würth Group, announced an agreement to acquire Hermance Machine Co. in Williamsport, Pa.

Hermance distributes and services several brands, including SCM Group, Anderson America, Gannomat, Cantek America, Doucet, Imperial Systems, MB, Cresswood, Nordfab and TigerStop.

The day-to-day management of Hermance Machine Co. will roll up into the Akins Machinery division at Würth Baer Supply Co. Additionally, the Williamsport facility will also act as a new, fully stocked and operational Würth Baer Supply Co. distribution site, according to the announcement.

“The Würth team is extremely pleased to announce this strategic Hermance acquisition which will expand and solidify our woodworking machinery expertise under the Akins Machinery team while introducing another full service Würth Baer Supply Company site to our existing footprint of warehouses,” John Geraghty, CEO of Würth Baer Supply Co., said in a statement.
