Hoffmann to showcase automatic dovetail routing machine

Hoffmann’s PP2-NCF can rout up to three keyways for Hoffmann Dovetail Keys into the mitered ends of molding profiles. Different routing heights are set for each keyway to take advantage of the thicker section of profiled stock, according to the AWFS exhibitor.

“This machine was designed specifically for quick and precise joining of plantation shutter frames in both solid wood and PVC,” the company said in a statement. “A touch-screen and QR code scanning aid in accurate data entry.”
